About Dawn marie hedrick

I’m Dawn Marie Hedrick, the founder of Deep Roots Media ™.  I've lived this.  I've raised children through it.  I'm still living it as a grandmother.  I've made mistakes, learned from them, and now help other parents avoid the same struggles. 

 Unlike many parenting programs built primarily from theory, my approach combines lived neurodivergent family experience with practical, relationship-first strategies that help parents create calmer, more connected homes.   I understand because I've been there. 

I believe meltdowns are not proof of bad parenting or a broken child.  They are signals that something underneath needs support.

Through coaching, writing, and parent resources, I help families identify triggers, respond with steadiness, repair after hard moments, and build routines and boundaries that protect connection.
